Sounding the Net: Appendix

The following interviews were conducted via email from February through May of 2005 for the article Sounding the Net: Recent Sonic Works for the Internet and Computer Networks. The article was published in the Contemporary Music Review in the Summer of 2005. Since each interview went through at least one iteration of additional questions and answers, I have attempted to maintain that form in arranging the interview texts for this page. To show an iteration on a question, I indented and colored the text from each successive email for an interview. For example, the first email for an interview is in black text and flush left. The second email for an interview is one tab stop in and colored red. The questions and answers from the emails are ordered to show where I asked questions in response to previous answers by the interviewees. I have not edited the text for grammar or spelling in order to preserve the immediacy of the email format. Interviewees were given the opportunity to request minor corrections, but the original text for the most part remains intact. — Peter Traub
